Read Among the Flowers
Join us for a new kind of book club—one without pressure or reading lists. Frogmore Flower Farm’s Silent Reading Club is a quiet, welcoming space where you can settle in with a book and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the farm.
We will have chairs and benches scattered throughout the display beds and tucked into quiet corners of the farm. They are the perfect spots for unwinding, turning pages, and soaking in the evening sun. Bring whatever book you are reading, meet fellow book lovers, and let the flowers do the talking.
Here is what you can expect:
2:00 – 2:30 PM: Arrive, pour a cup of tea, and find your perfect reading spot
2:30 – 3:30 PM: Silent reading among the flowers
3:30– 4:00 PM: Optional time to chat with fellow book lovers.
After the reading club, you’re welcome to stay and pick a seasonal bouquet.
We’ll be gathering throughout the summer on Saturdays or Sundays (see dates below). Come back often, bring a friend, and make it part of your seasonal rhythm.

Special Guest: The Kinetic Bookshop
At each gathering, we’ll also be joined by Jill from The Kinetic Bookshop—a traveling bookshop dedicated to spreading the joy of reading across Mid-Coast Maine and supporting local libraries. Jill is a lifelong reader, Camden Library team member, and a passionate book-matchmaker. She’ll be there with a curated collection to browse and help you discover your next great read.

About Frogmore Flower Farm
Located in the heart of Waldo County, Frogmore Flower Farm is a micro u-pick flower farm. Our fields are filled with an array of flowers, from classic sunflowers to vibrant zinnias and everything in between. It’s easy and fun to create your own custom flower arrangement—we provide all the tools and materials you need, including shears, buckets, and advice. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm and a love of nature.
